Upcoming Virtual Volunteer Training

We’re excited to announce our next CASA volunteer training sessions, starting October 29th, 2024!  If you’re ready to make a difference in the lives of children experiencing foster care, this is your chance. Join us for this interactive and meaningful training journey!

 Training Schedule: Participants must attend all sessions to complete the required 30 hours of class instruction.

Tuesdays and Thursdays (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM):

  • October 29th: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • October 31st: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • November 5th: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • November 7th: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • November 12th: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • November 14th: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Saturdays (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

  • November 2nd: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • November 9th: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

You must be at least 21 years old to become a CASA volunteer.  

Children’s Voice: CASA, Inc. reserves the right to make any checks deemed appropriate as to the suitability of anyone responsible for this confidential work. Your Social Security Number will be requested at the time of your interview. All information obtained will be held in the strictest confidence.

The program rejects any applicant found to have been convicted of or having charges pending for a felony or misdemeanor involving a sex offense, child abuse or neglect or related acts that would pose risks to children or the CASA program’s credibility.

This CASA program is hereby authorized to investigate and verify all statements made in this application and to conduct any further investigation it deems necessary to determine my suitability as a CASA volunteer.
I understand that application does not assure acceptance in the program. I will be responsible for assuring that my references return the reference form to the CASA program. I have carefully considered the volunteer position description and training schedule and, if accepted, will offer my services as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
