In Memoriam: Joy Michelle Ponder Bates

Dear CVCI Supporters,

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Joy Bates. Joy tragically passed away on Friday, July 12th, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and compassion that has profoundly impacted all of us at Children's Voice: CASA, Inc.

Joy was a cornerstone of our organization for nearly 13 years, most recently serving as our Advocacy Recruitment & Training Coordinator. Her commitment to our mission and tireless efforts in support the children and families of Douglas County have made an indelible mark on our entire community. She will be remembered not only for her many professional achievements, but also for her kindness, courage, humor, and unwavering spirit.
